Vision Conveying, one of the most progressive belting company’s in SA, now also boasts a very large stockholding of PVC and PU (polyurethane) conveyor belting.
The company carries as many as 40 different types of conveyor belts in stock at any one time with this range, a total of over 9,000 sq metres, catering for the majority of market requirements. Any non-stock and more specialised belts can be made available in 6-8 weeks from date of order, using sea freight or sooner with airfreight. This time factor can, however, be eliminated through an arrangement to stock a specific belt exclusively for a customer.
Vision Conveying is a direct importer of the potential 150 different belt types available, including the finest quality endless woven cotton belts as well as a range of rubber belting. This enables the company to offer a belting solution for virtually every application in food manufacturing, biscuit baking, sugar and glass production, pack-housing, etc.
Vision Conveying offers one of fastest turnaround times when it comes to the cutting and preparing of any conveyor belts, and is often capable of delivering the same day. It also offers a 24/7/365 on-site belt splicing (joining) and fitting service. This service was recently expanded to include a dedicated specialised rubber team, which does on-site hot and cold belt splicing as well as idler maintenance.
Belts are prepared in a state-of-the-art workshop west of Johannesburg, and can be supplied endless (without a join) or with a selection of mechanical fasteners to suit the application. Custom-made belts can also be supplied, including the “pocket type” with corrugated side walls and cleats or belts with profiles and guides. Vision Conveying also offers the punching of holes in elevator belts.
